A Tale of Two Weddings
There are many ways to tell a story: Option 1: An Irish school teacher marries a Naval officer in a coastal village. They drive off into the fog in their pink Mini. But, of course, that is not the full story.
Option 2: A teacher marries a Navy officer in Ireland. Rain falls. Power goes out. Brides has a tummy bug, misses cocktails, guests play music bingo and have a ball. The truth is always more nuanced than we can show. What will be remembered? How will the photographs affect the memories?
